Do the same thing as when you breathe on a window glass. If it is a real diamond, it will be cloudy for only a moment, no more than a minute, and the cloudiness will disappear quickly.
On the other hand, if it is an artificial diamond, the cloudiness from the steam of the hot air will remain for about 2-3 minutes, and then it will return to being clear.
2. Soak it in water at normal temperature.
Just by soaking it in normal water, you will be able to clearly differentiate it. A real diamond will sink completely because it has a very high specific gravity.
While an artificial diamond has a lower specific gravity, it will not sink completely.

3. Check for scratches.
If it is a real diamond, when using a magnifying glass, there will be no scratches and the facets are clear, with almost no wear.

Naturally, when there is pressure or new transformation, the occurrence of flaws in nature is normal for real or natural diamonds.
If it is an artificial diamond or a man-made diamond, when trying to look at the flaws, you will find that they are more refined and have fewer flaws.
5. Look at the diamond details in the certificate.
